Job summary

PPS-HPS seeks a Senior Systems Specialist with deep BAS expertise to lead and support projects for high-end commercial clients. This hands-on, leadership-driven role covers system design, commissioning, troubleshooting, and team collaboration.

Responsibilities include designing and servicing BAS systems, setting up networks, providing technical leadership, interpreting diagrams, ensuring documentation and safety, and assisting with project management and client communication.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of BAS design, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Associate degree or equivalent technical training.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with BAS platforms: Tridium Niagara AX/N4, Distech, Honeywell Spyder, Johnson Controls CCT/PCT.
• Familiarity with LonWorks, BACnet, and IP networking.
• HVAC knowledge: boilers, chillers, packaged units.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and service BAS systems.
• Set up and troubleshoot BAS networks (IP, RS-485) and verify I/O.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the BAS team.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, mechanical plans, and low-voltage systems.
• Ensure proper documentation, inspections, and safe work practices.
• Assist with project management and client communication.
