Job summary

Schneider Electric seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead Building Automation System (BAS) projects across Greensboro and Winston-Salem, NC. The role requires 8+ years in building automation, HVAC controls, construction, or related fields, with strong PM, financial, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, PM, Business, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in building automation, HVAC controls, construction, or related technical industries.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles, contract administration, and construction practices.
• Advanced knowledge of HVAC controls and ability to interpret drawings and schematics.
• Demonstrated financial management and project budgeting experience.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Building Automation projects from kickoff through completion.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations.
• Lead project turnovers and reviews throughout all project phases.
• Maintain project documentation, including RFIs, meeting minutes, submittals, change orders, punch lists, and issue logs.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, risks, and overall financial performance.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and subcontractors to ensure successful execution.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional project delivery.
• Resolve project issues through field surveys, documentation, and stakeholder coordination.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to Schneider Electric's project management community.
