Job summary

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in engineering-related field preferred; high school diploma accepted
• 10+ years directly applicable BAS/HVAC/controls design experience
• Experience with major BAS manufacturers (JCI, Honeywell, Schneider, Siemens, Distech, Niagara)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit preferred; strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop project-specific control schematic diagrams, sequences of operation, and specifications.
• Field evaluations of existing control systems to identify upgrade opportunities.
• Some project management including scoping work, scheduling resources, and estimating cost.
• Provide controls-related technical leadership to junior staff.
• Review BAS/control systems designed by others
• Interface with control system contractors and integrators
• Directly interface with clients
• Coordinate work with other Dewberry teams
