Job summary

Hyatt is seeking an experienced Bartender for Paniolo Bar in Hawaii. The role focuses on crafting innovative cocktails, maintaining high quality, and delivering exceptional service in a vibrant hospitality setting.

You will train teammates, uphold safety standards, and engage guests to elevate their experience. Minimum 3 years in bartending/F&B, with Mixologist skills preferred, and Alcohol Awareness certification.

Qualifications

• 3+ years bartending and food & beverage experience or equivalent
• Mixologist experience preferred
• Alcohol Awareness Certification (state regulations)
• Extensive knowledge of cocktail recipes, techniques, and trends
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to train and lead team members effectively
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate weights
• Provide TB Clearance

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative cocktail menus for outlets and events
• Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes and quality standards
• Check customer IDs to verify legal age for alcohol purchase
• Train and mentor staff on cocktail techniques and standards
• Maintain a strong presence in the local cocktail community
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety protocols are followed
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies
• Provide exceptional guest service and engage with guests to enhance their experience
• Support staff development and teamwork
