Job summary

Porter Hospitality seeks a dedicated barista for Day Shift at The Shop. You will craft beverages, assist guests, and process payments with precision while upholding safety standards.

Two years of customer-facing hospitality experience with POS familiarity are preferred; CA Food Handler’s Permit is required. The role offers a friendly, fast-paced environment and opportunities for growth within our expanding brand.

Qualifications

• Must complete food preparation and service training.
• Barista experience of 5+ years preferred.
• CA Food Handler’s Permit required.
• Experience with counter and full-service settings is a plus.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced cafe environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages to customers.
• Describe product details to guests with start-to-finish accuracy.
• Process payments via POS systems and handle orders efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas and equipment.
• Supervise and train junior team members during shifts.
