Job summary

Servbank is seeking an AVP Banking Risk to oversee the risk and controls framework within Deposit Operations across commercial and consumer lines, in partnership with the BSA team. You will lead testing of in-line QA controls, governance, and enterprise risk reporting.

This role collaborates with Deposit Operations, BSA, and other Lines of Defense to mitigate risks, improve control effectiveness, and ensure timely remediation and exam readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in mortgage banking or mortgage servicing with emphasis in risk management, internal audit or compliance.
• Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Experience leading teams and partnering across lines of defense.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Banking Risk for Deposit Operations and KPI metric tracking.
• Develop and oversee risk management processes to test control effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Line of Business and BSA leadership to enhance testing processes.
• Deliver risk findings to Risk Committee with corrective actions and timelines.
• Maintain testing programs for deposit lifecycle activities and ensure regulatory compliance.
