First Merchants is seeking a Senior Client Relationship Representative to join our team. This role delivers a high quality customer service experience by accurately processing bank transactions, opening accounts, and handling loan applications, while identifying products and services to meet clients’ financial needs.

You will lead relationships, drive sales, and support operational excellence in a fast-paced banking center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• 1 year of banking, sales, or related experience and 6 months selling products or services.
• S.A.F.E Act registration required at employment through NMLS.
• Notary Public designation required if applicable.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• In-depth knowledge of bank products/services across lines of business.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional client experience by managing complex service and relationship needs in a fast-paced banking center environment.
• Serve as a trusted advisor by discussing clients’ financial situations and recommending integrated solutions.
• Lead by example in achieving sales goals and supporting center scorecard performance.
• Coach and mentor teammates, participate in huddles and training, and support onboarding of new hires.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, compliance, and information security requirements.
