Fredrikson & Byron, P.A. seeks a Debt Finance attorney to join its Corporate and Finance Department in Minneapolis. You will represent lenders and borrowers in acquisition financings, corporate credit facilities, and real estate financings, drafting documents, negotiating terms, and closing transactions with colleagues.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in debt financing, a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school, and an active U.S. license with prompt Minnesota admission if needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience in debt financing transactions.
• Background in debt financing transactions.
• Familiarity with acquisition financing and private equity mergers and acquisitions.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills.
• Strong academic background.
• J.D. from an ABA-Accredited Law School.
• Active attorney license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and ability to promptly get admitted in the State of Minnesota if not already admitted.

We are seeking a Debt Finance attorney to join our Corporate and Finance Department representing lenders and borrowers in a diverse range of financing transactions, including acquisition financings, corporate credit facilities, and real estate financings. The position will primarily represent lenders but will also include some representation of borrowers. You will be responsible for drafting transaction documents, negotiating with opposing counsel, and closing transactions in close collaboration with other members of our team.

The salary range for this position varies by geographical market. In Minneapolis, the estimated starting annual pay range is $210,000 - $260,000 / year. The compensation offered will be dependent on the candidate’s experience, skills, education, professional background, overall qualifications, and geographic market location.
