Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Bank Legal Attorney in the Dallas metro area to provide regulatory advisory support for U.S. bank subsidiaries, with a focus on digital asset initiatives and fiduciary issues.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years in bank regulatory practice, JD, and experience with federal banking agency supervision. In‑person interviews and eventual relocation to Dallas are expected.

Qualifications

• J.D. with practical experience in U.S. bank regulatory law preferred.
• Experience with supervisory expectations of federal banking agencies is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Advise on application of U.S. banking law to Morgan Stanley's U.S. bank subsidiaries.
• Advise on compliance with banking law related to digital assets and fiduciary requirements; support digital asset trust bank initiatives.
• Review bank agreements for compliance with U.S. banking regulation, including Regulation W.
• Participate in review of new business initiatives through the banks' change management process.
• Review compliance policies with policy owners.
• Provide guidance for regulatory exams, Internal Audit and Compliance reviews.
• Collaborate with various departments and outside counsel.
