Job summary

Jjsnackfoods is seeking a Process Engineering Lead to oversee bakery manufacturing operations. This role focuses on leading process design and commercialization while optimizing efficiency and product quality. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in bakery operations and be instrumental in driving improvements across production lines.

The position is based in La Vergne, TN, with travel required for project support.

Qualifications

• Five (5)+ years of progressive experience in commercial bakery or thermal food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of dough rheology, fermentation, baking science, and moisture control.
• Experience with high-speed automated production lines and packaging systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transition of bakery products from pilot to full-scale production.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D and Quality.
• Drive improvements in yield, scrap reduction, downtime, and overall throughput.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Food, or related Engineering field
