4+ years hands-on experience backup/recovery in enterprise IT.
Experience administering enterprise backup platforms (Veeam/Commvault/NetBackup).
Knowledge of backup storage concepts, retention, and capacity planning.
DoD 8140 requirements (Security+ or equivalent) and active Secret clearance.
Must be a US citizen able to work in a federal IT environment.

Responsibilities

Implement and administer enterprise backup solutions to protect servers, apps, databases, and files.
Monitor backup jobs daily and resolve failures for all systems.
Perform regular restore testing to verify integrity and recovery objectives.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery and continuity of operations plans.
Manage backup storage, retention, and offsite media handling.
Collaborate with admins to ensure coverage for critical workloads.
