Qualifications

• Proven experience in leading and managing development teams.
• Experience in Java, Elixir or Golang.
• Experience debugging in a cloud environment.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar database.
• Experience with NoSQL databases.
• Deep understanding of scalable and available architecture.
• Experience with Elasticsearch, Redis, Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and guide a team of backend developers.
• Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of backend apps in Java / Golang / Elixir.
• Architect, build and deploy backend applications from scratch.
• Interact with stakeholders to understand requirements and timelines.
• Plan and execute extensive load testing for services.
• Create execution plans to improve resilience and ensure loose coupling.
• Identify improvements and fix resilience issues in existing systems.
• Write extensive test cases for future modifiability.
• Build ETL pipelines to collect data in a Data lake and power BI reports.
• Maintain documentation of technical specifications and architecture decisions.
