ABCO Maintenance is a full-service commercial facility maintenance and construction company serving the Tri-State area for 35+ years. We are currently seeking a Senior Backend Software Developer to join our team remotely. The role involves designing robust backend solutions, optimizing database performance, integrating secure RESTful APIs, and implementing best practices for application scalability and security. Front-end experience with Angular, Blazor, and Radzen would be beneficial. The candidate will mentor junior developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, develop, and optimize backend systems and databases using C#, SQL, Linq SQL, and related technologies.
• Develop and manage secure RESTful APIs, emphasizing scalability, SSL/TLS security, and authentication practices.
• Ensure robust backend architecture that supports responsive and scalable applications.
• Perform database design, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Mentor junior developers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
• Manage source control with GIT and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional backend development experience with C#, ASP.NET, MS SQL, and Linq SQL.
• Experience in backend architecture, API integration, SSL/TLS security, authentication protocols, and IIS administration.
• Proven track record in developing secure, high-performance RESTful APIs.
• Strong skills in database optimization and management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Good communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Angular, Blazor, Radzen.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.
• Experience with workflow tools like Moxo, Trello, or Sampro.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
