Job summary

GoodLeap in Irvine, CA is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to build and scale the enterprise platform services spanning IAM, Communications, Payments, and API Gateways. You will partner with product and engineering teams to shape the platform roadmap and uphold engineering excellence.

The role requires 7+ years in backend or platform software, strong skills in C#/.NET or TypeScript/Node.js, REST and GraphQL, OAuth 2.0, and cloud/container experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
7+ years in backend or platform software engineering.
Proficient in backend platform engineering with C#/.NET or TS/Node.js.
REST and GraphQL API design, OAuth 2.0/OIDC, event-driven messaging.
Experience with AI-assisted development and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with product, architecture, and design leads to deliver highly-available, fault-tolerant products and services.
Tackle significant technical challenges, evaluate options, and guide decisions.
