Judi Health is seeking a Senior Backend Software Developer to help lead projects from design to delivery. You will partner with product managers and designers to define requirements and collaborate with developers to implement new features or improve existing functionality.

The role emphasizes technical leadership in a healthcare technology context, with hybrid work across offices in NYC, Denver, and Charlotte, and a focus on scalable, high-impact software.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience; health-tech a plus.
• Strong Python (Flask/SQLAlchemy) experience.
• Advanced PostgreSQL knowledge (CTEs, windows, views, stored procedures, full-text or geospatial indexing).
• Experience with infrastructure as code using AWS, Terraform, or similar.
• Experience writing unit tests and using Git in a mono repo.

Responsibilities

• Lead features from design to delivery.
• Partner with product, design, and QA teams.
• Become a subject matter expert on the team's products.
• Provide technical support to cross-functional team members and stakeholders.
• Expand Judi Health using Python, AWS, and other technologies; work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
