Job summary

Judi Health, LLC is seeking a senior software engineer to lead enterprise API integrations, data migrations, and cloud-native backend development. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and clients to gather requirements with a product mindset and drive scalable, secure solutions using Python, Flask, and AWS technologies.

You will engage with clients, architect innovative solutions, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software on a modern cloud platform.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related job experience with a broad range of technical skills.
• Desire to work in health technology; PBM experience is a plus.
• Strong Python (Flask/SQLAlchemy) and TypeScript (React).
• Advanced PostgreSQL knowledge; APIs, microservices, and caching.
• Cloud infra as code (AWS, Terraform) and security mindset.
• Observability improvements and scalable architectures.
• Linux/Bash, Node.js tooling, and mono repository familiarity.
• Strong unit and integration testing; Playwright experience a plus.
• Technical lead or product management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development and deployment from design to production.
• Refine requirements with product managers and cross-functional teams.
• Engage with major clients to architect innovative solutions.
• Establish and maintain enterprise APIs across services for interoperability.
• Build backend applications in Python on AWS Lambda and other services.
• Implement serverless, cloud-native backend (Flask/AWS Lambda/ECS).
• Design scalable systems for high-volume transactions; ensure reliability.
• Follow security best practices in development and deployment.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain high quality and standards.
• Provide technical leadership and drive timely software delivery.
• Make informed architectural decisions using experience.
• Self-manage tasks and drive projects to successful completion.
• Represent the development team to stakeholders with technical insights.
