Job summary

Fujitsu seeks a Senior Backend Java Engineer to design, implement and maintain robust backend services within a modern microservices architecture, focusing on security and compliance with architectural standards.

You will build RESTful microservices with Java 17+ and Quarkus, integrate internal and external systems (e.g., SAP, MyGuichet), and collaborate with architects to ensure adherence to logging, auditing, error handling and security guidelines.

Qualifications

• Strong backend Java development with microservices
• Experience designing RESTful services and APIs (OpenAPI 3)
• Experience integrating external systems (SAP, MyGuichet) and legacy DB2 z/ OS
• Ability to work with architects and implement refactoring roadmaps
• Deliver production-ready code with good test coverage and CI/CD
• Familiarity with logging, auditing, and security standards

Responsibilities

• Design RESTful microservices using Java (LTS) and Quarkus.
• Maintain secure, scalable backend services for complex processes.
• Implement components per business specs with robust validations.
• Collaborate with architects to follow guidelines and refactoring roadmap.
• Build and maintain inter-system integrations (SAP, MyGuichet) via SOAP and messaging.
• Ensure high-quality code with unit and integration tests.
