Systegration, Inc. in Chicago is seeking a Senior Backend Java Developer for a 100% onsite, multi-year contract. You will lead server-side design, implement RESTful services, and mentor junior engineers. The role demands 15+ years of Java experience and strong database, API, and cloud/messaging skills.

The position requires expertise in microservices, TDD/BDD, CI/CD, and experience with AWS/Azure, Kafka, and API gateways. Local candidates preferred for this onsite role.

Formación

• 15+ years of Java development experience
• Strong background in relational and NoSQL databases
• Experience with MVC, Microservices and Event-Driven architectures
• Proficient in TDD/BDD
• CI/CD with Jenkins, GoCD or Azure DevOps
• Experience deploying to AWS or Azure
• Hands-on with MQs like Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, SNS, ActiveMQ, or Kinesis
• Designing RESTful APIs and API proxies (Apigee Edge, AWS API Gateway, or Azure API Gateway)
• Experience with API testing tools (Swagger, Assertible) and testing tools (Selenium, Cucumber)
