Job summary

Visa Hunt is seeking a Senior Back-End Java Developer with AWS for an international Geneva-based IT organization. You will build and maintain a Java-based system using Spring Boot, Hibernate, and ElasticSearch while collaborating with the cloud team to deploy scalable AWS infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in IT or related field.
• 5+ years in Java development and deployment of IT systems.
• +2 years on DEVOPS including CICD pipelines and production support.
• +2 years with AWS networking, compute and storage.
• Experience with test automation and QA practices.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to backend implementation and maintenance of a Java-based system.
• Develop backend features per business specs and write unit tests.
• Collaborate with cloud team to design and deploy AWS-based architecture.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables and code reviews.
