Job summary

Socure is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Workforce Verification Team. You will drive design, development, and deployment of scalable software solutions that help eliminate identity fraud, mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

In this role you will own nonfunctional requirements such as scalability, availability, and security, contribute to tests and documentation, and help raise the bar for engineering practices in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of hands-on coding experience with Golang.
• Experience architecting microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Strong problem-solving and coding skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and debug components for distributed systems that operate at large scale and high speed.
• Own and drive nonfunctional requirements such as scalability, availability, and security.
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests, achieving robust code and functional coverage.
• Produce enterprise-class documentation for internal and external collaboration.
• Collaborate with team members to elevate technology standards and consistently apply best practices.
