Job summary

Legato, LLC is seeking a Backend Software Developer for a telework position located in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role requires TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance and offers a salary range of $190,000 to $225,000, depending on experience.

The position supports Agile development, involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining mission-critical software, and can include up to 16 hours of telework per week.

Qualifications

• Fourteen (14) years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Bachelor's degree substitution: five (5) years of Software Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with AWS and Agile development practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend software applications.
• Collaborate with Agile team and government stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
• Develop backend services using Java, C++, or Python and ensure integration with PostgreSQL.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and perform code reviews to ensure quality.
