Scrambly is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our core systems team. You will tackle scalability challenges for a globally used platform and support internal tooling powering our operations.

You will write robust Node.js/NestJS code, design distributed services, and mentor engineers while collaborating with Product, Design, and QA to deliver reliable, high-performance software in a fast-growing adtech startup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, backend focus.
• Proficient in Node.js and NestJS with RESTful APIs.
• Strong system design and distributed systems knowledge.
• Experience with cloud platforms and container orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable Node.js RESTful APIs and services.
• Mentor engineers via code reviews and pair programming.
• Monitor reliability, optimize CI/CD, manage containers.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and QA to translate requirements.
