Job summary

Qualifications

• US citizen or permanent resident required.

• Experience in software development and balancing delivery speed with long-term goals.
• Experience providing technical leadership across products/services.
• Fluency in functional and object-oriented programming; ability to learn new languages.
• Proactive, collaborative team player who takes on responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Work with a friendly, knowledgeable team on cross-team platform initiatives.
• Participate in scoping, designing and developing new features; lead delivery for open-ended problems.
• Contribute to advancing the scalability of the LogScale engine.
• Develop the control plane in Golang and scale capabilities for high availability.
• Communicate technical decisions through design docs, talks and internal docs.
• Provide technical advice, research and proposals on new technologies.
• Collaborate on delivering new solutions and support team through code reviews, pairing, reviews and guidance.
• Monitor features in production and follow up on issues.
• Troubleshoot critical production issues.
