Zoom is seeking a software engineer to own and deliver full features on the platform team, building reliable APIs and data infrastructure that shape the customer experience. You will collaborate with backend and frontend engineers to design scalable, observable systems.

The role emphasizes ownership of large-scale backend projects, performance, and long-term reliability, with a structured hybrid work model and compensation that includes base salary, bonus, and equity.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of backend software engineering experience with API development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, PostgreSQL, and Node.js in production deployments.
• Proficiency with TypeGraphQL, Apollo/Express, React, RDS, and ClickHouse.
• Strong ownership of large-scale backend projects and clear communication.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build infrastructure, data models, and APIs that power core platform features and resolve real customer problems at scale.
• Ship well-designed, testable code with a consistent focus on performance, scalability, and long‑term reliability.
• Build and maintain software testing, validation procedures, and technical documentation that uphold engineering quality standards.
• Own core internal infrastructure and ML systems, ensuring they reliably serve the evolving needs of customers and cross‑functional teams.
• Analyze complex system challenges and deliver simple, elegant solutions that account for observability, SLA commitments, and long‑term scalability.
