You will own RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and distributed architectures, mentor engineers, drive CI/CD and cloud deployments, and partner with product teams to deliver secure, high-performance solutions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, with 5–8 years backend experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, Java, or Python with production work.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and GraphQL services with robust error handling.
• Hands-on with message queues and event streaming platforms.
• Proficient with unit/integration/contract tests using frameworks (JUnit/pytest/Jest).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate high-throughput backend services and APIs.
• Develop and maintain robust RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
• Architect distributed systems and ensure reliability at scale.
• Lead CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments (AWS/Azure).
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews and design reviews.
