Qualifications

Extensive professional experience in backend software engineering.
Proficiency in one or more modern backend programming languages.
Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases, APIs, and distributed systems.
Comfort working in a fully remote, distributed environment based in the UK.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain backend services, APIs, and data models supporting product features.
Contribute to architectural discussions, technical roadmaps, and engineering-wide standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate requirements into shipped software.
Participate in code review, incident response, and continuous improvement of operational practices.
Mentor peers and help raise the technical bar across the team.
