Endless Commerce is hiring a Senior Back-End Software Engineer to shape our core platform. You will design, implement and maintain backend services, tackle scaling challenges, and improve system reliability, working with Rails, PostgreSQL, and a modern stack.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development with a strong emphasis on Ruby on Rails.
• Proficiency in database design and management, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with background processing using Sidekiq or similar tools.
• Experience with cloud-based platforms (Heroku, AWS, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and web architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including with remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy back-end services and APIs using Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL.
• Architect scalable solutions to handle high-volume data and transactions.
• Maintain and optimize the existing codebase for reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with front-end engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to design and ship features.
• Monitor production systems, resolve incidents, and implement improvements.
