Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead architectural decisions, build scalable backend services, and own key components across web and mobile platforms. You will drive DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation while leveraging AI coding tools to accelerate development velocity.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, bilingual English/Mandarin, and may involve experience with payment systems.

Qualifications

BS in Computer Science (or higher)
5+ years building scalable and reliable infrastructure
Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin
Payment system experience preferred
Hands-on DevOps: CI/CD, infrastructure as code, containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), cloud platforms (GCP/AWS)
Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Codex, Claude Code) preferred
Experience building high-concurrency systems preferred

Responsibilities

Build and maintain robust backend services and APIs powering web and mobile apps using Node.js
Collaborate with PM and design to build scalable products and services
Own a component/feature/system with end-to-end understanding
Deliver projects with high productivity on large scope
Own DevOps responsibilities including CI/CD pipelines, IaC, deployment automation, system reliability
Leverage AI coding tools to accelerate velocity and improve code quality
