Read AI is seeking a Media Capture Engineer in Seattle to design and maintain live media pipelines, ensuring low‑latency capture of audio/video for real‑time features like transcripts and notes.

You’ll work across meeting agents, media pipelines, and third‑party integrations, applying your breadth across backend, frontend, devops, or data engineering to build robust, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a next-generation live media pipeline with low-latency data handling.
• Maintain and improve meeting agents for Zoom, Meet, and Teams calls; troubleshoot real-time connections.
• Tune media processing pipelines (FFmpeg/GStreamer) for cost efficiency and latency.
• Collaborate with product, design, and other engineers to turn data-driven insights into features.
