Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer Level 5 to develop and enhance backend systems, focusing on data engineering and API development with Python and FastAPI. You will design and manage PostgreSQL databases, and support high-speed, mission-critical integrations in data-sensitive environments.

The role requires TS/SCI with CI Polygraph, with experience building scalable systems and real-time processing. Strong SQL skills and Elasticsearch proficiency are essential.

Formación

• Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
• Backend developer experience.
• Data engineering and API development experience.
• Experience building scalable systems with Python and FastAPI.
• Experience designing and managing PostgreSQL databases with efficient SQL and indexing.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems including analytics, large data sets, real-time systems and MIS.
• Provide input to software component design, including trade-offs and reuse.
• Design, implement, and integrate software applications and tasks.
• Apply software engineering methodologies suitable to development, integration, and production.
• Ensure efficient delivery of software capabilities using industry standards.
• Mitigate risks, control costs and schedule variance on large-scale projects.
• Review and test components for adherence to design requirements and document results.
