Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer Level 5 to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems supporting mission-focused environments. This role emphasizes backend development, data engineering, and API work with Python and FastAPI, PostgreSQL design, and high-speed, high-volume, data-sensitive integrations.

Responsibilities include building scalable systems, contributing to component design, and delivering software per documented requirements in a demanding security

Qualificações

• Must have backend development experience.
• Experience in data engineering and API development.
• Proficiency with Python and FastAPI; PostgreSQL database design and optimization; Elasticsearch.
• Experience building scalable systems and high-performance API connections.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems including analytics, large data sets, real-time systems, and MIS based on documented requirements.
• Contribute to software component design, considering hardware/software trade-offs and reuse of COTS/GOTS where applicable.
• Design, implement, and integrate software applications and perform software engineering tasks.
• Apply engineering methodologies suitable to development, integration, and production environments.
• Ensure delivery of software capabilities using industry standards and repeatable processes.
• Mitigate risks, control costs and schedule variance for large-scale projects.
• Review and test components for design adherence and document results.
