Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer Level 4 to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems for mission-focused environments. This backend-heavy role emphasizes Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and scalable data pipelines in high-speed, data-sensitive settings.

You will design, implement, and integrate applications, apply robust testing, and support large-scale projects while ensuring performance and security in a TS/SCI environment with CI polygraph requirements.

Qualificações

• Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
• Experience building scalable systems with Python and FastAPI.
• Experience designing and managing PostgreSQL databases with efficient SQL and indexing strategies.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems including analytics, real-time and large data processing.
• Contribute to software component design including hardware/software trade-offs and system-level requirements.
• Design, implement, and integrate software applications and perform software engineering tasks.
• Apply methodologies appropriate to development, integration, and production environments.
• Ensure efficient delivery of software capabilities using industry standards and repeatable processes.
• Mitigate risks, manage large-scale projects, and control costs and schedules.
• Review and test components for adherence to design requirements and document results.
