Job summary

Think Us is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join a long-term project in Real Estate / Housing Data. You will build scalable Python backends, data pipelines, and analytics on BigQuery and GCP.

You’ll own features end-to-end, optimize performance, and work with international teams. Strong English is required, plus hands-on ETL and SQL experience. Nice to have PostHog and time-series data experience.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience
• BigQuery + advanced SQL with large datasets
• Production experience with GCP: Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Monitoring, Load Balancing
• Experience with ETL, data pipelines, background jobs & async processing
• Knowledge of React / Next.js / TypeScript to contribute to an existing frontend
• Experience with Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI coding tools
• Strong system design, performance optimization, debugging, and Git
• Advanced English for daily communication with international teams
