Job summary

Luxoft Poland is seeking a senior Cloud Fleet Engineer to design, build, and scale cloud services for remote device management and OTA updates. You will own CI/CD, multi-region AWS infra, and secure APIs, collaborating with hardware and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

The role emphasizes DevOps and SRE practices, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to the technical strategy. Poland-based candidate preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of industry experience in cloud engineering.
• Experience with AWS services (EKS, S3, SQS, RDS, Cognito, Lambda).
• Proficiency in Python or Go for production services.
• Experience with relational, document, or time-series databases and performant SQL.
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Ability to design and operate scalable, secure APIs and microservices.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with agile environments, DevOps, and SRE practices.

Responsibilities

• Participate in incident prevention, response, and remediation efforts, applying best practices.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud services for observability, OTA updates, and fleet ops.
• Improve reliability, security, and performance of multi-region AWS infrastructure using IaC.
• Own CI/CD pipelines for cloud services and automated delivery processes.
• Set high standards for software engineering and DevOps across the team.
• Collaborate with hardware, product, and engineering teams to define system requirements.
• Drive architectural decisions, perform code reviews, and shape long-term technical strategy.
• Mentor junior engineers and share expertise in cloud technologies.
