Job summary

ProSearch is partnering with an innovative client to hire an experienced Backend Engineer with strong Python, AWS, and API skills. This remote role focuses on building scalable, secure cloud-native applications using Flask, FastAPI, and containerization.

You’ll contribute to authentication, identity management, and engineering excellence across the platform. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality software, participate in CI/CD, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience in agile environments.
• 3+ years of hands-on coding in Python, preferably in web development.
• Familiarity with Python web frameworks (Flask, FastAPI, Django).
• Experience with AWS, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
• Knowledge of authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, MFA) and API security.
• Familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Write efficient, reliable, maintainable, and scalable code for APIs and cloud services.
• Participate in design reviews and code reviews to ensure quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable cloud solutions.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines to deploy software in a DevOps environment.
• Provide analytics, logging, and monitoring support for applications.
• Write unit, integration, and performance tests.
• Document deliverables clearly for stakeholders.
• Participate in triage meetings and architecture discussions.
• Support AWS IaaS platform initiatives and service delivery.
