We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (Python) to design backend services with FastAPI, implement async task execution, integrate LLM services, and build MCP servers. You’ll work with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes in a remote-first, collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• 4+ years Python backend experience.
• Strong FastAPI experience.
• Solid PostgreSQL + S3 experience.
• Experience with async task queues (Celery, Redis, Kafka).
• Production experience with microservices: long-running jobs, retries, failure handling.
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI and MCP servers.
• Observability basics: logging, monitoring, alerting.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services in Python (FastAPI).
• Implement async job execution and status tracking (Redis/Celery/Kafka).
• Integrate with LLM services (internal & external).
• Build and maintain MCP servers exposing platform to third‑party agents and clients.
• Develop ETL pipelines and ensure data quality across ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Ensure stability, observability, and cost-efficient inference.

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (Python) who will join our team.

What will you do:

• Design and build backend services in Python (FastAPI)
• Implement async job execution and status tracking (Redis/Celery/Kafka)
• Integrate with LLM services (internal & external)
• Build and maintain external MCP servers that expose our platform to third-party AI agents and clients
• Develop ETL pipelines and ensure data quality across ingestion, transformation, and storage
• Ensure stability, observability, and cost-efficient inference

About you:

• 4+ years Python backend experience
• Strong FastAPI experience
• Solid PostgreSQL + S3 (or equivalents)
• Experience with async task queues (Celery, Redis, Kafka)
• Production experience integrating with microservices: long-running jobs, retries, failure handling
• Solid hands‑on experience with agentic AI: building MCP servers, implementing agents, and working with various LLMs and other generative models
• Genuine enthusiasm for agentic AI and keeping up with how the field evolves
• Basic observability skills (logging, monitoring, alerting)
• Experience in cross‑functional teams (frontend, ML)
• Experience with AWS infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes

It would be great if you have:

• Familiarity with LangChain or agentic workflows
• Marketing technology background (ad platforms, creative tools)
• Experience with StarRocks (or other OLAP databases, ex. Clickhouse)
