Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join the Platform Readiness team. You will architect and evolve automated platform-readiness assessments across multiple deployment targets, partnering with Infrastructure, Security, and Data teams to translate domain knowledge into scalable requirements.

You will mentor engineers, contribute to technical documentation, and drive improvements in agentic workflows and governance, enabling faster, safer feature shipping.

Qualifications

• 5+ years software engineering required.
• Backend tooling experience desirable.
• Proficiency in TS/Node, Python, or Go.
• Experience shipping developer-facing tooling.
• Familiar with CI/CD and code review workflows.
• Ability to collaborate across platform teams.
• Experience with schemas and validation tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve the Core Agentic Workflow (DAP flow) and the Requirements Agent to automate platform readiness assessments.
• Evolve the platform requirements knowledge base with schema design and validation tooling.
• Build integration surfaces for developer teams via issues, merge requests, design documents, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner with Infrastructure, Security, and Data teams to translate domain knowledge into platform requirements.
• Design governance-related feedback loops to surface errors and drive continuous improvement.
• Mentor engineers on agentic-workflow standards and human-AI collaboration principles.
• Document architectural decisions and rationale for key design choices.
