Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join the Payments team. You will design and build scalable backend services for payment processing, owning features end-to-end from design through production deployment, with a focus on reliability and performance.

Work with product and cross-functional partners to expand payment capabilities across markets. 5+ years in backend engineering and Go expertise are required to deliver high-volume, auditable financial systems.

Qualifications

5+ years of backend software engineering experience.
Proficiency in Go or similar languages for scalable APIs.
Experience building production services in a service-oriented or microservices architecture.

Ability to own features end-to-end with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities
