Mozilla Corporation is seeking experienced backend engineers to own end-to-end services that power Firefox and related products. You’ll build and operate server-side components, collaborate with CloudEng and UX teams, and maintain production health.

You’ll work across multiple Ecosystem Services teams focused on privacy, security, and reliability. The role emphasizes ownership, careful use of AI tools, and strong collaboration with product and frontend partners.

Competenze

• 4+ years of software development with backend focus.
• Experience building backend services in Python, Node.js/TypeScript, or Rust.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, SQL, and schema migrations.
• DevOps experience on cloud platforms, especially GCP, with Docker.
• Experience with observability tools like Sentry and Grafana.
• Ownership mindset: operate services in production and respond to incidents.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive engineering excellence.
