Mozilla Corporation is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own backend services on the Ecosystem Services Team. You will build and operate server-side features, collaborate with CloudEng and product teams, and help maintain reliable production systems for Firefox and related services.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software development with a backend focus.
• Strong experience building backend services in Python, TypeScript/Node.js, or Rust.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and SQL optimization; familiarity with Knex or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead backend development and maintain server-side logic.
• Own services end-to-end, deploy, operate, and keep them healthy in production.
• Collaborate with CloudEng, frontend, and design partners to deliver reliable features.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
• Contribute to API design and data contracts; review code for quality and security.
