Job summary

Walmart Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the delivery of scalable software solutions via collaborative engineering teams.

You will design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality code across NodeJS, TypeScript, and Rust with a focus on AI/ML integration and CI/CD. You will mentor peers, translate complex requirements into reliable software, and ensure alignment with platform objectives within the Pre Purchase Experience Platform team.

Qualifications

• Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
• Option 2: 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year's experience in software engineering or related area.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of scoped features and models through collaborative engineering teams, ensuring alignment with platform and system objectives.
• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality, efficient code across NodeJS, TypeScript, Rust supporting full software lifecycle and CI/CD processes.
• Integrate AI/ML components and leverage generative AI tools to enhance software capabilities and development efficiency.
• Mentor peers and contribute to knowledge sharing and engineering excellence.
