Job summary

Deel is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to join our remote-first team. You will design and build scalable features, develop robust APIs, and optimize systems for high transaction volumes. Rich PostgreSQL expertise, OOP, and strong problem solving are essential. Experience with AWS serverless and Fintech domains is a plus.

You will collaborate across frontend, product, and QA teams to deliver reliable, secure software in a global, 24/7 SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong SQL expertise, especially PostgreSQL, with data modeling and migrations.
• Solid object-oriented programming and design patterns knowledge.
• Experience designing scalable systems and high-volume performance.
• API development experience with security and scalability considerations.
• Familiarity with SaaS in a 24/7 cloud environment.
• Experience with serverless architecture on AWS is a plus.
• Fintech domain knowledge is advantageous.
