Job summary

Wunderflats is hiring a (Senior) Backend Developer to advance their Node.js and MongoDB backend, integrate with payment services, CRMs, and other housing platforms, and contribute to architectural design. You will participate in sprint planning and ensure robust CI/CD processes.

The role is permanent and full-time with an option for remote work within +/- 1 hour of the Berlin headquarters, offering a dynamic, international startup atmosphere and strong opportunities for personal development.

Qualifications

• Proficient in JavaScript and back-end technologies.
• Strong MongoDB knowledge and data modeling.
• Experience with TypeScript is a plus.
• DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Working proficiency in English.
• Interest in prop-tech and marketplace products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Node.js and MongoDB-based backend.
• Integrate with 3rd-party APIs (payments, CRMs, housing platforms).

This is a permanent role on a full-time basis, with an option for remote working (+/- 1 hour from our Berlin Headquarters).

YOUR MISSION

• Further development of our Node.js and MongoDB-based backend
• Integrating with 3rd-party APIs (including payment services, CRMs and other housing platforms)
• Contributing to the high-level architectural design of our platform as well as taking care of the details about getting things shipped, including CD and CI.
• Get involved in sprint planning sessions and raise potential problems early on

• Professional JavaScript Knowledge.
• Professional MongoDB Knowledge.
• TypeScript Knowledge is a plus.
• DevOps Knowledge with Github Actions and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Working proficiency in English.
