Job summary

Wunderflats is hiring a (Senior) Fullstack Developer to join our Product & Engineering team. Our stack includes MongoDB, Node.js/Express, React, and TypeScript is a plus. The role is permanent, full-time, with a remote option within +/- 1 hour of our Berlin headquarters.

You will develop both backend and frontend, build React components, integrate REST/GraphQL APIs, and help scale services to more countries. You will participate in sprint planning and drive ongoing feature work.

Qualifications

• Professional JavaScript knowledge.
• A few years of software development experience with one or more general‑purpose languages.
• Familiarity with distributed version control systems such as Git.
• Working proficiency in English.
• Nice to have interest in prop-tech or marketplace products.
• Desire to work in a respectful, transparent, and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Further development of our backend and frontend stack.
• Create and maintain React components, communicating with REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Develop our Node.js and MongoDB backend, implement web services, and integrate with 3rd‑party APIs.
• Participate in sprint planning and raise potential problems.
• Help scale services to more countries with continuous A/B testing and new features.
