Job summary

Resumonk is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead backend development for our procurement-focused platform. You will design scalable microservices, craft robust APIs, and collaborate with product, frontend, and DevOps to deliver high-performance systems.

You will own backend architecture, optimize MongoDB queries, and drive integrations with ERP systems like Oracle Fusion while mentoring junior engineers and upholding coding standards and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Extensive backend expertise with MEAN stack and scalable systems.
• Distributed systems and microservices design experience.
• Strong REST API design and microservice architecture background.
• Proficient in Node.js and either Express.js or Nest.js, MongoDB and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead backend system architecture and high-performance design.
• Develop scalable backend services and APIs for the platform.
• Collaborate with product, frontend and DevOps teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Integrate with external systems including ERPs to extend platform capabilities.
• Optimize database queries and storage with MongoDB focus.
• Troubleshoot complex backend issues and drive improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers and enforce best practices.
