Job summary

Mphasis in Menlo Park, CA is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Middle Office Core Platform team. You will design and build scalable backend components, microservices, and cloud-native solutions to deliver high-performance business outcomes.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of software engineering experience, strong Java/Spring or Go skills, and hands-on experience with containers, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Collaborative, Agile mindset required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related STEM field.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with microservices and cloud-native development.
• Proficiency in Java (Spring) or Go.
• Scripting in Python is preferred.
• Experience with containers and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure services.

Responsibilities

• Participate in technical discussions and architecture design.
