Job summary

Airbnb is seeking Senior Software Engineers for the Listings Backend Team. You will enable Host journey success by implementing backend functionality to power the main experience for Hosts to create and manage Stays, Experiences, and Services.

This role emphasizes building backend components and collaborating with product, design, and other engineering teams. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in industry, a CS degree or equivalent, and a track record of delivering consumer-facing products.

Qualifications

• 3+ years industry experience
• Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree preferably in CS or equivalent experience
• Experience building high-quality consumer-facing products
• Ability to evaluate technical approaches and design product solutions
• Ability to drive alignment and manage projects with stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Client Engineering, Product Management, and Design teams to align on product requirements.
• Drive scoping, technical requirements, design, implementation, and operation of new functionality.
• Build high-quality, reusable backend components.
• Support other engineers in the team or related teams.
