RBC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Minneapolis to design, develop, and deliver software solutions that integrate vendors into back office systems. The role emphasizes independence, collaboration, and driving innovation across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• At least 5+ years of professional experience as a software developer with a proven track record.
• Strong knowledge of GitHub, including branching strategies, code reviews, and conflict resolution.
• Proficiency in relational databases and SQL.
• Proficient with distributed databases & in-memory caching (MemSQL).
• Proficiency with Java (Core, Spring Boot) object-oriented programming language.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing (unit/integration/end-to-end).
• Ability to research and document current technical state of systems end-to-end.

• Team Technical Leadership: explore and conceptualize technical solutions and mentor other developers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of back-end processes.
