RBC Capital Markets LLC in Minneapolis seeks an experienced IT leader to shape our product portfolio for deposit and banking solutions. You will oversee internal development, vendor partnerships, and delivery of complex initiatives while guiding a team of developers toward on-time, within-budget outcomes.

The role emphasizes collaboration with business partners, cross-functional programs, and alignment with RBC procedures.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in an IT field or equivalent work experience
8-10 years IT management experience, preferably in financial services
Strong understanding of technology and financial services, deposits and lending experience
Experience managing software and service providers in the banking industry
Deadline-driven and results-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Responsibilities

Manage the implementation of multiple concurrent initiatives of varying complexity on time and within plan
Identify issues, conflicts and risks; analyze, mitigate, and escalate as appropriate
Direct and coach a team of IT resources for day-to-day work, development, and performance management
Collaborate with cross-functional groups to deliver assigned deliverables and align with RBC procedures
Build strong relationships with business units to influence decisions and integrate initiatives across platforms
Contribute to Wealth Management IT leadership activities as needed
