Walmart is seeking a Software Engineer III in Bentonville, AR to guide small cross-functional teams, design robust backend services, and implement scalable solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, and modern cloud tools. The role involves coding, testing, debugging, and collaborating across product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.

Applicants should have a Master’s degree in a related field and hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, Azure/AWS, and DevOps

Competenze

• Design requirements and high/low level design documents.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and software implementations.
• Develop and implement backend apps using Java (Spring Boot) and Node.js.

• Lead small to medium projects; guide 2–3 engineers, including offshore associates.
• Troubleshoot production issues; perform root cause analysis and implement fixes.
